| DUŽ 650 and DU 7500
Spectrophotometers have a program mode which is a unique and
powerful applications tool, available only from Beckman Coulter.
With it, the user can create custom assay methods to fit a
particular need, automate routine analyses and store these programs
in permanent instrument memory. These programs will be listed in the
Main Window, protected and executed the same as the application
modes. The user can write programs by simply "pointing and
clicking"
on desired commands in sequence with the mouse to build the desired
program. Features
- Automatically blank and collect data.
- Store data in designated locations.
- Calculate results using eight mathematical functions and
statistical analysis.
- Prompt for samples, sample weight, dilution factor, etc.
- Format and label output.
- Control sampling accessories and printers.
- Programs written on a DU 650 or DU 7500 may be transferred and
used on any other DU Series 600 or 7000 Spectrophotometer when
both are equipped with the External Storage Device.
Accessories
The External Storage Device (P/N 514244) option is strongly
recommended to permit mass storage of data and transfer of methods,
data and results to other DU Series 600 and 7000 spectrophotometers
on 720 KB or 1.44 MB 3.5-inch DOS-formatted diskettes. |

Applications Step Program Library
The Applications Step Program Library contains a number of
specific programs addressing a variety of applications. Each program
is documented and is provided on diskette for easy downloading and
use with your spectrophotometer. Once loaded to your DU Series 600
and 7000 instrument, these programs can be called from the Main Menu
screen and used any time. The DU 650 and DU 7500 allow you to
further tailor them to your specific needs.
Beckman Coulter spectrophotometer users are encouraged to share
and contribute their programs for inclusion in the Applications Step
Program Library updates. Please submit your program on diskette with
directions for use and example printouts to:
