Meet Us Under the Arch - A Glimpse of Beckman Coulter’s SBS Exhibit (Booth #1501)The theme for the 2008 conference is “Enhancing Research Productivity: Quality Tools, Leads & Candidates,” thus we are focusing on solutions to make your labs the most efficient in the world. We will feature solutions for genetic and cellular analysis. A GenomeLab™ system based around a Biomek® 3000 Laboratory Automation Workstation will be highlighted. This configuration is used for front-end work for gene expression as well as many varieties of nucleic acid preparation and reaction setup. And, we’ll have the GeXP Genetic Analysis System on display. Our booth, tutorial and posters will highlight our ongoing collaboration with Cisbio for automating GPCR functional assays. The Cisbio HTRF* assay can be automated on either a Biomek laboratory workstation or a BioRAPTR FRD™ Microfluidic Workstation. Because measuring cell viability is a critical laboratory task, we will exhibit the Vi-CELL® XR Cell Viability Analyzer. The Vi-CELL XR can run as a stand-alone unit or be integrated with a Biomek workstation. Compact and efficient, it allows researchers to verify the state of cell cultures before beginning an assay, ensuring that only quality cultures are used.
