The Biomek FX is at the forefront of liquid handling automation. With its high throughput capability, precise movements and extreme pipetting accuracy, plate replication can be done accurately and efficiently, allowing for the automation of repetitive processes, thereby eliminating possible human error. As such, a sequencing reaction setup is ideal for the Biomek FX platform. Reaction plates can be swiftly created with no user intervention other than initial deck setup. In the time it takes a person to set up one 96-well sequencing reaction plate the Biomek FX can do six.
