Genomic DNA Purification Method: BFXSV96gDNAPurification.exe (108 KB)
To install the Genomic DNA Purification method on the Biomek FX:
- Download the self-extracting file containing the method and import file.
- Double click the file to extract.
- Chose a directory to copy the files.
- Open the Biomek FX software.
- Under the File menu chose Open.
- Select the plasmid purification method.
- If labware definitions are needed follow the additional steps below:
- In the Biomek FX software under the Tools menu choose Import/Export Utility.
- Select Open.
- Select the directory where the import file (.imp) is located and choose Open.
- Open the Labware folder by clicking the + next to it on the Import File side.
- Drag and drop the desired setting(s) to the Current Workspace side of the Import/Export Utility. (Note: Dragging an entire folder will copy all of the settings in that folder. You will then have the opportunity of overwriting or not overwriting each individual setting.)
- Continue to import settings using step 4 until all desired settings are imported.
