Definitions for Biomek® P30XL Tip
BiomekŪ FX software version: 2.5e, 3.2 or higher.
Two definitions are provided. Please select the definition for your specific system configuration.
- BiomekŪ FX and NX Definition for 384-Multichannel head. (For
use with Biomek Software Version 3.2 or higher):
P30XL_v32.imp
- BiomekŪ FX Definition for 384-Multichannel head. (For
use with Biomek Software Version 2.5e):
P30XL_v25.imp
For use with your existing optimized system techniques, these instructions enable selection of the P30XL tip definition.
To download the tip definitions follow the steps below:
- Download the file from above that supports your specific instrument configuration.
- Choose a directory to copy the file.
- Utilize the Biomek Software to import the file as described below.
To install the tip definitions for Biomek Software version 3.2 or higher, follow the steps below for importing a project file:
- From the Project menu, choose Import Project.
- In Open Import File, browse to and select the Biomek import file to import.
- Choose Open.
- Select all project items from the Biomek import file to import. (Note: By default all project items are selected.)
- Choose OK to import all selected project items.
- Choose close to Check In Project.
To install the tip definitions for Biomek Software version 2.5e, follow the steps below for importing labware:
- In the Biomek software under the Tools menu choose Import/Export Utility.
- Select Open.
- Select the directory where the import file (.imp) is located and choose Open.
- Open the Labware folder by clicking the + next to it on the Import File side.
- Drag and drop the desired setting(s) to the Current Workspace side of the Import/Export Utility. (Note: Dragging an entire folder will copy all of the settings in that folder.)
- Continue to import settings using the above steps until all desired settings are imported.
- Choose close to exit the Import/Export Utility.
