To maintain sample integrity necessary for any application, the Biomek NX^P offers advanced septum piercing capabilities. New clot detection circuitry has been added to ensure samples are consistently and reliably dispensed to their proper location in a non-contaminated form, ideal for applications such as gDNA purification from whole blood.

987874	Biomek NX^P/NX Span-8 Systems 13 mm Septa Piercing Kit The Septa Piercing Kit includes the septa piercing 13mm tube rack (P/N 987875) plus the specially designed rack holders that attach to the tube rack to hold the tube in place during septa piercing probe extraction. This rack accomodates the vacutainer 2-3 mL type tubes. Note: when using the septa piercing capability you MUST use a rack with the holder. Additional racks are sold individually for additional storage. The rack holder is interchangeable between other 13 mm tube racks of same part number.

Each rack has spring positioners which securely position the tubes in the rack and do not allow tubes to move. This rack accomodates the vacutainer 2-3 mL vacutainer type tubes.
