Convenient Packaging of DNA Synthesis Reagents
The dramatic increase in the demand for synthetic oligonucleotides has driven the design and construction of high-throughput DNA synthesizers into many different configurations. This increased demand for oligonucleotides has also required that DNA synthesizers be fitted with large capacity bottles for the reagents.
Beckman Coulter has responded to this demand by offering DNA synthesis chemistries in bottles of both standard and a variety of bulk formats. Listed in the right-hand column of the table "Liquid DNA Synthesis Reagents in Large Bottle" are examples of our non-standard packaging. Controlled Pore Glass (CPG) with Attached Nucleotides
- The titer for the attached nucleotide is in the range of 20 - 30 micromoles / milligram of CPG.
- The CPG particle size is 75 mm.
- The CPG is available in 1,000 Angstroms pore size.
